The illustrator and cartoonist Jugoslav Vlahović and the journalist Dragan Jovanović thought up »Blackie the Cat« in 2004 for the Serbian weekly NIN. Since then more than 300 drawings of the adaptable tomcat have appeared and its begetter, Jugoslav Vlahović, has been awarded numerous prizes.
