Vera Lourié

Vera Lourié (1901–1998), born in St Petersburg, belonged to a circle of poets around Nikolay Gumilyov and fled to Berlin with her family in 1921. There, she survived the Nazi Era, World War II and the Red Army invasion.
Vera Lourié lived in Berlin until her death in 1998.
