Karin Kiwus

Karin Kiwus, born in Berlin in 1942, studied Journalism, German Literature and Political Science, and has worked at the Berlin Academy of Arts, as an editor for the publishing houses Suhrkamp and Rowohlt, as a guest professor at the University of Texas in Austin and a lecturer at the Freie Universität Berlin. She lives in Berlin.
A central voice of German contemporary poets she received the Orphil Award for Poetry 2014 for DAS GESICHT DER WELT.
