Gert Loschütz

Gert Loschütz, born in 1946 in Genthin (Saxony-Anhalt) has been a full-time writer since 1970, also working for the theatre and for radio. He has been awarded numerous awards and stipends. Gert Loschütz lives with his family in Berlin.
In addition to his highly-praised novels such as DARK COMPANY (which was shortlisted for the German Book Prize) he has published a story collection and books for children. His novel A FINE COUPLE was shortlisted for the Wilhelm Raabe Literature Prize and longlisted for the German Book Prize 2018. His novel REVISITING A TRAGEDY has also been nominated for the German Book Prize 2021 and was awarded the Wilhelm Raabe Literature Prize 2021.
